Delivery
Astral Wines offers free nationwide delivery to most of the mainland UK on orders over £X. For orders under £X, we charge £X per address. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands have a delivery charge of £X.
Orders are despatched on a next-day service where possible, but please note that deliveries can take up to 3 working days to arrive. Orders placed after 2pm or on a weekend/bank holiday are processed on the next working day.
Signatures & proof of age
Deliveries may require a signature upon receipt. If you request that a delivery be left without a signature, this will be at your own risk. Astral Wines will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone under 18 years of age. By placing an order, you confirm that you or the recipient is at least 18 years old. We and our couriers reserve the right to request proof of age or to withhold delivery if there is any doubt about the recipient’s age.
Damaged or missing orders
Please get in touch with us as soon as possible on X or via X if there are any discrepancies or problems with your order.
Returns
If something’s not right, we’re happy to help. You can return any unopened bottles in perfect condition within 30 days of your order date. Just get in touch via [insert contact method] to arrange your return. Once the wines arrive back with us safely and in their original condition, we’ll refund the cost of the bottles (minus delivery). Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and the goods remain at your risk until they reach us.
Corked or out of condition bottles
If a wine is corked or faulty, we will, in the first instance, offer a replacement bottle; or if we are unable to replace the bottle from our stocks, we will offer a credit to the replacement value of the wine. We will ask for the return of the bottle in question so please reseal it and contact us ASAP via edward@astralwines.co.uk. Please note that we can only offer refunds, credit or replacements up to six months from the original purchase date, providing the bottles have been properly stored.
For older wines, we take all reasonable steps to verify provenance and condition before sale. However, due to the nature of mature wines, we cannot guarantee the authenticity or quality of the wine once opened. Older bottles may develop in unexpected ways, and some may not suit every palate. Please note that wines over 10 years of age are sold on an “as seen” basis and are not eligible for refund, credit, or replacement.
